Fiber Reinforced Finger Lift Tape

Fiber reinforced finger lift tape is a high-performance hot melt tape consisting of a pressure-sensitive adhesive coated onto a PET release liner. A 92 gauge polyester filament is in-laid to increase structural and tensile strength to the end application or direct-to-consumer packaging.

Fiber Reinforced Finger Lift Tape Technical Information

Fiber reinforced finger lift tapes from Rayven feature an extended film liner and a fiber reinforced stripe of pressure-sensitive adhesive. The typical construction utilizes a ¼” broad stripe of aggressive pressure-sensitive adhesive reinforced with a single strand of PET filament yarn on a ½” wide thin printed polyester film release liner. This product is supplied in traverse wound spools at a length of 21,000 feet. Fiber reinforced tape is fully customizable to fit a customer’s specific end application. Variables can include variations of release liner film, adhesives coat weights, slitting widths, number and type of reinforcements, and custom liner printing.
